Keeping up with the Kardashians

This show seems to have become a cultural phenomenon. Every time I turn on the TV it seems to be on. There have also been many spin offs of the original show involving just a few of the Kardashian family. What is it about this family that makes people want to watch what happens to them. I have to confess that I have found myself getting sucked in by the show. Is it the way they edit it or the fact that they are a close family that makes me feel I can relate to them. A few years ago no one had heard of this family and now they are all over the media. It is really wild to me. After watching the show, I am still not entirely sure why this family has become so famous. I know their father was an attorney on the OJ Simpson trial but besides that I'm not sure. I guess it really is all about who you know. Especially if your in Hollywood.
