Footloose
I saw the remake of Footloose last night with my whole sorority because one of our seniors is featured as a dancer in the movie. I really loved the movie. Though I never saw the original, I thought the plot, music, dancing, and characters were extremely entertaining. In the beginning and end of the film, the director focuses on the movement of people's feet as they dance to emphasize the freedom the dancers felt when they could actually dance in public. The director did a great job of tying all of the elements of the movie together from the costumes to the cars to the music. The ending was a little but too cheesy for my taste, but overall I thought it was a great movie and I would recommend it for anyone who likes small town love stories with a happy ending!
