How I Met Your Mother
How I Met Your Mother is my favorite TV show of all time. It's a show about a father telling his two kids about how he met their mother. So the whole show is a flashback from the year 2033, but it's a flashback to the present time if that makes sense. There are five main characters in this show. Ted Mosby (Josh Radnor) is the future father and architect who is always looking for the "Mrs. Ted Mosby." Robin Sherbatsky (Cobie Smulders) is a news reporter who dated Ted in the first season, but after they broke up they remained good friends. Marshal Erikson (Jason Segal) and Lily Alderan (Alyson Hannigan) are a fun couple who met during their freshman year of college and got married in season two, which was 2-3 years after college. Last but not least is Barney Stinson (Neal Patrick Harris) who is the guy who wants to be single forever and who pools crazy schemes to sleep with women. How I Met Your Mother just started it's seventh season about a month ago, which is insane because the writers weren't intending the show to be this long, but because of it's vast popularity the writers kept adding on seasons. The acting is phenomenal, the writers are brilliant, and the directing is LEGEN...wait for it...DARY! (inside joke of the show)
