Burlesque
This is one of my favorite movies that I have seen in a while. It is about a small town girl, who doesn have alot of money, who goes to LA to find a better life. While looking, she runs into a place called burlesque. She walks in to see what it is all about. She seeing girls dancing on stage, and se knows that that is what she wants to do. So she works her way up, avantually trying out for a dancing role. She finds difficulites during her time trying to move to the top, but she never lets anything hold her back. She helps Tes(the club owner), keep the bussiness. The music in this movie is amazing and very upbeat. Although the movie was about showgirls, i felt that the director did a good job of making it tasteful and one that even adults would enjoy. Christina Aguilera did a wonderful job and the main role (Ally). She showed just how musicly talented she still is and how she can still dance as if she were a 18 year old again. Cher showed how talented she still is by acting the role of Tes. She did a great job playing a former dancer/club owner. Its amazing how her voice is still one of the best, and her and Christina made a killer duo together. Seeing this movie in theathers and then in a home atmosphere, it still made me want to get up and sing. I would love to see this as a Broadway production!
