The Polar Express

Once again Disney and Pixar did an amazing job with the characters, plot and how real everything looked. The Polar Express is about a young boy who is losing his faith in Santa and Christmas all together. It all begins on Christmas Eve when the little boy is laying in bed listening for Santa, when all of a sudden everything begins to shake and a train horn blares. He immediately jumps out of bed and runs out side to find a huge train waiting for him to board. At first he is a little hesitant but after some persuasion he gets on the train. The train makes one more stop at this run down, little boy's house until they proceed on with their journey to the North Pole. On the way there they encounter many difficulties such as slippery ice and a very step slope. Pixar did an amazing job at making these obstacles look feel like a real roller coaster for the viewers. When they arrive in the North Pole the magical aspects come to life. For example Santa's workshop, the elfs, the huge christmas tree, and of course Santa and his slay. The moral of the story comes up when the main character, the young boy from the beginning of the movie gets chosen to ask Santa for the first gift of Christmas. He walks up to the enormous slay and whispers in Santa's ear. You later find out that he asked for a bell off Santa's slay, which you can only hear if you BELIEVE. The whole meaning of christmas. I found this movie to be a great Christmas movie that will go down as a classic!
