I am an engineer and when I found out what this class was about I wasn't really sure if I was going to stay in it. I didn't really see how learning about movies would help me in my future, but I was wrong. This class was not just about moves but opening your eyes to view things for how creative they really are. I think that this class has allowed me to see that it doesn't matter what you are doing, but as long as you do it so that it is your own work, with your own personality/originality you can be happy with what you produce. In this class we looked at things related to movies that most people never notice or take a second time to rethink. The amount of creativity put into one film is off the scale but when you look at each individual shot you see that there is the same amount of creativity needed to make it look the way you want it to. It shows that when you are working on a project not to focus on the whole project but instead break it up into "shots" so that you can put an infinite amount of energy throughout the whole project.
