I am a huge horror film fan, but lately I am getting torn away because of the lack of quality horror films that have been recently produced. The horrow movies that I actually find scary are usually older films because I feel that all the newer films have become predictable. The latest joke horror film has been the three waste of time Paranormal Activity movies. Thery are based on "ghost" attacks on innocent families, and rely on quick scares to actually call it a horror movie. It was a joke of a series of movies and I found it to be an insult to the horror genre. It really bothers me that people are okay with accepting some garbage movies even when it is apparent the film lacks any true art of horror. Hollywood is just filled with cookie cutter horror ideas, and until that mold is broken I am sure that I will only have trash movies to watch.
