Forrest Gump...nuff said.
Forrest Gump was on tv the other day. I love this movie. But now that I've taken this class, it really brings me to respect this movie much more. The effects (such as the super imposing historic events etc) and also the way they are able to really get you to connect with the character really ups the respect I have for this movie. Making you feel for a person that is actually fictional is extremely impressive. The development of Forrest into an actual believable role is incredible. The over the shot of Bubba dying makes me tear up every time. Now that I've been in this class, I am more likely to watch movies I love and it just makes me respect them even more. Especially since I mostly despise cookie-cutter movies (which can include romance and action).
